V7: Admin password reset

follow these instructions to reset your admin password

 

Windows 10 Instructions:

  • Completely uninstall the V7 application

  • Open File Explorer on your PC

  • On the top, select the View option

  • In the drop-down, place a checkmark in the Hidden Items checkbox

  • Double-click on the Local Disk (C:)

  • Double-click on the ProgramData folder

  • Double-click on the Crucial Innovation folder

  • Double-click the Retul folder

  • Search for files named with numbers, e.g. 0, 1, 2, etc

    • The file named 0 contains all Admin credentials. Delete this file and all subsequent files named similarly

  • Reinstall the V7 application

  • You will be prompted to create new Admin credentials

Windows 11 Instructions

  • Completely uninstall the V7 application

  • Open File Explorer on your PC

  • On the top, select the View option

  • Scroll and hover over the Show option

  • Place a checkmark in the Hidden Items box

  • Double-click on the Local Disk (C:)

  • Double-click on the ProgramData folder

  • Double-click on the Crucial Innovation folder

  • Double-click the Retul folder

  • Search for files named with numbers, e.g. 0, 1, 2, etc

    • The file named 0 contains all Admin credentials. Delete this file and all subsequent files named similarly

  • Reinstall the V7 application

  • You will be prompted to create new Admin credentials
