Fit app - v8 software

The Fit App is the new V8 software that has been built on Apple’s iOS architecture. Launched in May 2024, this platform allows the software to receive regular updates, enhancements, and features frequently throughout the year.

The Fit App provides the fitter and the rider with an even more personalized experience through bike category expansion, an active assessment, and deeper diagnostics with the sacral angle and spinal kinematics.

Fit App Hardware

There are two pieces of required equipment:

• V8 Upgrade Kit

  • Includes:

    • Vantage Communication Box

    • Fit App Software

    • Sacral Sensor

  • $1000 USD

  • How to Order:

• Apple iPad Pro

  • 4th gen or newer, 12.9” screen size

  • There is no minimum storage size requirement

Recommended additional pieces of equipment:

• Keyboard - Apple or any compatible keyboard

  • to streamline the typing during the assessment and fit report and have the whole iPad screen viewable

• AppleTV box (not the subscription) so that you can show your iPad screen on your TV/monitor for the riders to see

  • if you already have a TV screen, check to see if it is Apple AirPlay compatible before purchasing the AppleTV box

What happens to V7?

At the start of the V8 migration in May 2024, it was announced that V7 would be turned off in May 2026. Due to unforeseen circumstances, V8 is not available in all countries worldwide at this time.

For this reason, V7 will not be turned off in May and no new date has been set.

Due to the age and technical limitations of V7, there is always the possibility that V7 will stop functioning and there is no guarantee that the software would be able to be restored. We encourage all fitters to transition to the V8 software as they are able to.
