Retül Fit iOS App Software Release Notes and Known Issues

  • cover the current known issues, recent fixes, and additional tips and tricks.

  • be updated when there is new information to share.

If you are experiencing an issue that you don’t see addressed here, send those details to the Retül Team by using the Feedback Button in the app.

If you are experiencing any issue with the app, please do not uninstall and reinstall the app unless instructed by the Retül team to do so.


Fit App

Current Known Issues

These are the issues our team is aware of, and we are working on getting a fix out as soon as possible!

  • Personalized ranges are activated when the fitter completes all the Assessment questions. If you have completed the Dynamic Movement but left some of the assessment steps blank, Personalized Ranges will not populate - fitters will see the yellow triangle alerting them to an issue.

  • Several bugs related to updating your iPad to iPad OS26.

  • After hitting “Complete Fit and Send Report” Fit status still shows as “In Progress”

  • After Zinning a bike in the app, if you feel that the bike hasn’t been auto-leveled by the app, re-zin the wheels and trace as much as possible. This applies to all bike types except when using the MUVE SL.

  • Pedal Spindle Offset

    • We are aware that users are continuing to experience issues with the Pedal Spindle Offset feature in the Fit App.

  • Hardware times out after no activity

    • Sacral Sensor (AnGi) goes to sleep quickly.

      • The app cannot wake up the AnGi on its own. When you are ready to conduct a pose capture, tap or shape the device to wake it up. You will know it is awake once you see the green light flashing.

      • Make sure you have removed the thin plastic slip so the battery makes contact with the device.

    • Zin Wand

      • If the Zin Wand is not used after connecting to the app after a long period of time, the tool will disconnect.

  • Issue when loading Pose Capture into the “Rider View”

    • When in Pose captures under the ”Rider” view and you go to load the right side the capture will always display double or with a high degree of error.

      • One work around that some fitters have found success with is to unload the capture and reload it.

  • Unable to Generate Personalized Ranges

    • Even after completing Dynamic Movements Steps, the app is unable to generate personalized ranges.

  • Client Creation: Date of Birth 

    • When you are entering the birth date for a new client, start with the birth year and then you can update the month and date. 

  • Users are experiencing a Zin disconnect during their fit sessions

    • Solution:

      1. In the top-right corner of the App, tap the Vantage icon.

      2. Tap the pair option from the drop-down

      3. Wait a few seconds while observing the blue light on the Zin

      4. When the blue light starts flashing, the connection has been re-established

Additional Tips and Tricks

  • Updates: Email App

    • Some fitters have reported that when they try to email a rider their fit report the email does not send from the iPad. Here are some tips to help with this:

      • Log out of the mail app and log back in.

    • We do not recommend using your personal email on the iPad being used for fits. This will avoid accidentally sending a fit report from your personal email and avoid other shop employees from seeing your personal emails.

    • In order to email your client a fit report, you will need to make sure the Email App on the iPad is set up. Please view the following PDF for email setup instructions.

  • Channel Issues

    • Experiencing channel issues? We recommend going thought the Hardware Onboarding process to make sure all of your hardware is on the same channel.

    • You can find this in your app settings under the HELP section. Just click on “Show Hardware Onboarding”.

  • General Recommendations: Troubleshooting 

    • If you are experiencing any issue with the app, please do not uninstall and reinstall the app until you have received instructions from the Retül Team.   

    • Doing this on your own will make it difficult for the team to diagnosis your issue. 

    • When you uninstall and reinstall the app, it will delete app settings, measurements groups, and any profile settings you have set up. 

  • Cloud Icon 

    • If you are experiencing the following issues, tap the Cloud Icon: 

      • Your shop is not showing up after you log in. 

      • You are unable to see client files. 

Fit App

iPadOS 26

October 15, 2025

There have been recent bug reports relating to the iPadOS 26 update.

The bug is affecting the zin data from not updating when loading a zin into the spreadsheet display. To workaround this, once you have loaded a zin, leave the screen by tapping on assessment or pose in the slider, and then return. The display should then update to the zin that you have selected.

***We recommend that fitters do not update their iPad to iPadOS 26 due to these bugs.***

If you have already updated your iPad, rest assured that our team is focusing on resolving the bugs that have appeared.

If you have already updated and are experiencing an issue, please report that as soon as possible through the App Feedback button.

    • If you are trying to generate a summary for a past Zin session, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app.

  • Bug fix related to rider height not saving when using imperial units

  • When trying to load a Zin or Pose, you will now see a subtitle with the date and time it was updated

  • AnGi Orientation has been corrected. This means the AnGi data is now accurate and angle the app is reading is now in the correct orientation.

  • Client phone number no longer show up in the client list to ensure increased privacy for fit clients.

  • Translation updates

  • Notes Section Added to Dynamic Movements

  • Decimals removed for Pose Metrics.

  • Bug Fixes:

    • After completing Dynamic Movements, some fitters were unable to get Personalized Ranges to populate

    • Ranges in the app match the ranges that are in reports

  • Report Generating Challenges

    • If you're not seeing all your saved data from your fit session in your report, please make sure that you have made all the correct selections. If you're still missing some items, go into the Zin module, tap on the Zin name, and add something to the Notes section. This will trigger the App to rewrite everything to the cloud. Try generating your report one more time.

  • Zin Connection Challenges

    • If all the Zin connection behavior appears normal before entering the Zin module, but you're not able to Zin the first component (top-cap), please tap the Vantage icon  (the furthest green icon to the left) and tap the Pair Zin/Harness option. If this does not work, toggle the Zin on/off switch several times. You're looking for the blue light to be flashing on the Zin Tool.

    • Based on research from our internal Human Performance Team, we are making updates to the Pose Ranges for the bike types available in the Fit App.

  • Features Updates:

    • Lower Extremity Alignment is now Multi-Select

  • Bug Fixes: Zin Data and Spreadsheet Stability

    • Users should not longer experience the following issues:

      • Past client data showing up on the Zin Spreadsheet.

      • Flashing Values in the Zin Spreadsheet.

    • If you experience this issue, pause your fit and then return to the fit. This should load the correct client data.

    • If you are experiencing this issue or if this workaround does not work for you please let us know via the feedback button.

  • Zin data captured during the fit does not make it into the rider’s report. 

    • This is occurring for TT/Tri Bike Types and MTB XC

  • Values in the spreadsheet flicker with different values

  • Unable to Generate Personalized Ranges

    • Even after completing Dynamic Movements Steps, the app is unable to generate personalized ranges.

  • Client Creation: Date of Birth

Current Known Issues

These are the issues our team is aware of, and we are working on getting a fix out as soon as possible!

  • Hardware times out after no activity

    • Sacral Sensor (AnGi) goes to sleep quickly.

      • The app cannot wake up the AnGi on its own. When you are ready to conduct a pose capture, tap or shape the device to wake it up. You will know it is awake once you see the green light flashing.

      • Make sure you have removed the thin plastic slip so the battery makes contact with the device.

    • Zin Wand

      • If the Zin Wand is not used after connecting to the app after a long period of time, the tool will disconnect.

  • The Fit App does not auto-level the bike during the Zin Module.

  • Issue when loading Pose Capture into the “Rider View”

    • When in Pose captures under the ”Rider” view and you go to load the right side the capture will always display double or with a high degree of error.

    • Even after completing Dynamic Movements Steps, the app is unable to generate personalized ranges.

  • App is slow to respond when searching for a client

    • When searching for a past client, you may experience slowness when trying to type a client name or the app may be slow to generate the results. Here are some suggestions if you run into this behavior

      • Be patient and allow for the app to catch up with your actions.

      • Organize your clients alphabetically and scroll until you find the client you are looking for.

  • Client Creation: Date of Birth 

    • When you are entering the birth date for a new client, start with the birth year and then you can update the month and date.
