Body Geometry Gen 2 Custom Footbeds

Our custom footbed line up is consolidating towards only offering the Body Geometry Gen 2 Custom Footbeds.

The Body Geometry Gen 2 Custom Footbed was launched in 2025 and is an overall wider footbed to match the increased toe box area of the new Specialized shoes. This shoe and footbed design change was influenced by foot tracing data that the Match Tower captured along with feedback from the two current custom footbed options. With the Ares shoe that launched in 2025, we launched a compatible custom footbed to work with the redesigned shoe shape.

The Gen 2s are a bit of a blend and happy medium between the Retül blue futbeds and the Gen 1s. The arch area has been slightly adjusted, reducing the lateral side and increasing the medial side to alleviate unwanted lateral pressure. The Gen 2s also enhance arch support by providing more moldable material, which will better serve riders of all arch heights. The molding process for Gen 2 is the same as for Gen 1. As always, the footbed should be centered on the footbed tray. Once molded, the footbed will have slightly more height in the arch area.


Gen 1s and Retul Blue

With the launch of the Gen 2s, the Gen 1s and the Retul Blue footbeds are being discontinued. Stock up on them at the sale price and increase your own margin! These footbeds will still work very well in shoes without the redesigned shape.

Once the inventory is gone, there will be no more, and only the Gen 2s will be available.
