Friday Fitter Feature: Stu Waring - Parvilla Cycles
It’s time for a Friday Fitter Feature! This Retül Fitter has been helping riders find their perfect position on the bike for over a decade. Stu Waring is a Retül Certified Fitter and has helped provide teaching support for Retül Fit technology classes through SBCU at the Specialized headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA.
In addition to his Retül Certifications and Fit instructor status, Stu also has certifications from other major fit schools and incorporates methodologies from F.I.S.T, Trek Fit, Bike Fit Kit, Bike Fit, Guru Fit, PowerFitte and GebioMized.
Stu volunteered for 2+ years as the Membership Director for IBFI (International Bike Fit Institute), and is a Certified Level 4 Fitter with IBFI.
Stu specializes in Road, Time Trial, Triathlon and Gravel bike fits. He is also one of the owners of Parvilla Cycles, a full service, premium bicycle store near Annapolis, MD. Parvilla provides products from several brans including Specialized, Argon 18, Felt, Factor, Parlee, Mosaic, and are the largest S-Works dealer in the Mid-Atlantic.
One thing Stu specializes in is the art of patience. He does not rush the fit process, and only does one fitting a day so he can be sure to take as long as it needs to get the rider dialed and ready to hit the road.
