JHK at Retul StudiosJeremy Horgan-Kobelski (JHK) treated us with a visit to Retul Denver last week for a mountain bike fitting. With his ever-growing list of impressive biking accomplishments, we were thrilled to capture a 3D dataset of one of our heros! JHK began mountain bike racing when he was 14 during a school trip to Colorado. Since that day he hasn't stopped competing. After racing for 18 full seasons, JHK has won 14 National Championships, become and American Olympian, and stood on many World Cup and International podiums. He is also an accomplished academic, graduating from the University of Colorado with honors and a degree in Applied Mathematics. In 2010, JHK spent over 200 days on the road. Considered America's most successful domestic racer of the modern era, JHK continues to cement his place among the all-stars of American Mountain Bike Racing. JHK came to visit Retul Denver to address some upper body/shoulder tension, as well as lower back pain. Retul was able to make some significant changes to JHK's mountain bike position, including:
Saddle height lowered 10mm
Stem lengthened 20mm Over the next few weeks of riding, JHK will be able to determine how his body has adapted to the changes.
